2025 Workshop Retreat

Join us in beautiful Half Moon Bay for a full day of writing and workshops! Jen Graybeal, a Creative Coach with ten years experience helping authors, will be there for a deep dive into Arcs and Archetypes. The morning workshop, Emotional Character Arcs, explores the themes and ties that put characters (and readers!) on an emotional roller coaster they won’t forget. After lunch, she will explore the power of leveraging reader expectations to defy conventions in ways that intrigue and enchant in the Archetype Subversion Tactics workshop. In between you are welcome to get words on the page or meet with Jen for coaching, brainstorming, and getting clarity on your next steps.
